Role SummaryThe Inside Sales Representative reports to the Location Manager and is a key member of the Forberg Smith sales team. This person maintains positive relationships with customers by providing excellent service, accurately quoting and processing orders, managing delivery and freight expectations, and resolving disputes.
Key Responsibilities- Process telephone orders and quotes, respond to incoming calls and e‑mail messages promptly.
- Maintain and grow customer sales and gross profits to meet company growth objectives.
- Enter orders into Eclipse and Salesforce and document all transactions in accordance with quality systems.
- Use company and vendor resources to deliver excellent customer service.
- Initiate workable solutions for customer issues and ensure long‑term resolution.
- Procure non‑stock products following established policies and procedures.
- Stay current on new and evolving product offerings and apply this knowledge in selling activities.
- Inform outside sales and management of relevant open quotes and customer issues.
- Accurately quote all pricing requests in a timely manner.
- Expedite orders when necessary.
- Advise management of competitive products and prices.
- Maintain quality service by adhering to Kendall Group policies, procedures, and standards.

- Work Experience: 2years of customer service experience.
- Education: Associate’s degree, technical degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent skills and experience.

Previous inside sales experience, preferably with industrial or technical products, and experience supporting a direct sales force.
