We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift contract position, lasting 6 to 9 months, at our Sparta, Michigan location. This role involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing plant equipment, performing preventive maintenance (PM), and completing work orders. No weekends are required, as we have a dedicated weekend shift crew.
- Maintain and service mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
- Perform skilled repair services on mechanical, electrical, and building systems and equipment.
- Conduct periodic inspections to evaluate repair requests.
- Identify and order necessary replacement parts.
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of switches, cables, and other equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company requirements.
- Schedule and coordinate installation support and service operations.
- Complete all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- At least 3 years of industrial machine repair experience.
- Experience in hydraulic repair.
- Proficiency in repairing conveyors, fillers, labelers, and sensors.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
