Child & Family Services of Northwestern Michigan (CFSNWMI) is hiring a Youth Services Counselor to provide crisis intervention, individual counseling, and case management to youth ages 12-24 who are homeless, runaways, or at risk of either.
In this role, you'll conduct community outreach, respond to crises, and connect youth with the resources they need - all while partnering with local agencies across the region to identify and serve at-risk young people.
What you'll do:- Provide crisis intervention and individual counseling to youth ages 12-24
- Manage cases for youth who are homeless, runaway, or at risk
- Conduct community outreach and build referral relationships
- Collaborate with community agencies to identify and serve youth in need
- Master's degree in a Human Services field, with appropriate licensure or actively working toward licensure
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background checks
