Shipping Coordinator

We are looking to add an organized shipping coordinator to our 2nd shift.

• Communicate with clients and shippers and resolve any complaints.
• Prepare shipping quotes for customers.
• Negotiate shipping fees with couriers.
• Accurately prepare shipping documentation following customer-specific shipping requirements.
• Keep a meticulous record of shipment information.
• Work with members of the shipping team to see that all requests are handled promptly, and goods are shipped on time and/or stored properly.
• Assist with general Shipping Clerk job functions

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience using a forklift is strongly preferred
• Computer literacy skills
• Flexible work hours.(Ability to stay late if needed for a truck)
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work well in a face-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
