Logistics Driver Coordinator

As a Logistics Driver Coordinator, you will facilitate the operations of the waste cycle and serve as a liaison between customers and drivers. You will communicate via phone, Teams chat, or video while monitoring technology to ensure efficient service for residential and commercial customers.

• Compile carrier and route assignments.
• Provide support for drivers and customers throughout the day.
• Respond to and resolve complaints and problems.
• Interact with employees and external customers via phone, Microsoft Teams chat, and video.
• Collaborate with logistics, customer service, quality, and other internal teams involved in the waste removal cycle.
• Track, trace, and update the status of daily waste removal routes.
• Participate in continuous improvement training and assist in training drivers on new procedures.
• Remotely monitor waste storage areas, documentation, equipment, and procedures from the corporate office in Clinton Township, MI.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work 8AM until route completion and on additional Saturdays.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements as they apply to logistics.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of ERP systems.
