General Motors (GM) is seeking a Warehouse Site Leader to lead our Willow Run, MI global parts distribution center. GM’s Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) organization is a global organization that provides customer support and all post-vehicle purchase services, including vehicle parts, service, and support for recalls and warranties. CCA manages the supply chain for service parts and maintains a warehouse network comprised of Processing Centers, Redistribution Centers and Parts Distribution Centers where vehicle parts flow to fulfill customer orders.

The Willow Run Site Leader is responsible for leading a salaried and hourly workforce, partnering with UAW and business stakeholders, and driving operational excellence through GM principles, standardized work, lean methods, and continuous improvement. The role requires an inspirational people leader and change agent who can deliver results in a fast-paced, shift-based distribution environment.

• Full site ownership across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement.

• Leading a unionized workforce of 156 hourly employees and 19 salaried employees.

• Managing 50 inbound/outbound trailers per day and processing 2.4 MM pieces annually.

• Driving operational excellence through strategic planning, continuous improvement, and change leadership.

• Responsible for $26MM Annual Operating budget, capital budgets, preventive maintenance, and delivering on financial targets (EBIT, revenue).

• Championing technology adoption and innovation, including Infor & WMS.

• Collaborating across the CCA network to align site performance with broader business goals.

• Building a high-performance work culture grounded in talent development, feedback, accountability, inclusion, and engagement. Navigating labor relations with confidence and integrity.

• Providing strategic and operational leadership for all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, transportation coordination, and customer delivery.
• Establishing clear goals, operating rhythms, performance standards, and action plans aligned with CCA and GM business objectives.
• Ensuring compliance with GM policies, safety requirements, environmental standards, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable laws.
• Improving warehouse productivity, labor utilization, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, delivery performance, quality, and operating costs.
• Leading response to operational disruptions, customer-impacting issues, safety concerns, quality issues, and material flow constraints.
• Managing site staffing, workforce planning, timekeeping, overtime, succession planning, talent development, and performance management.
• Using data and key performance indicators to identify trends, prioritize resources, and sustain improvements.
• Representing the facility in CCA leadership reviews and communicate performance, risks, opportunities, and recovery plans.
• Promoting a customer-first mindset supporting GM dealers, ACDelco customers, accessory customers, and other CCA stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

• 10+ years of warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or a related high-volume operating environment.

• Proven ability to deliver results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse, distribution, inventory, material-flow, and transportation processes.
