Robert Half has partnered with a growing international manufacturing company in the Clinton area in search of a Staff Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. The position offers high visibility within the accounting group and the opportunity to work closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller on a variety of corporate accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process

+ Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

+ Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis

+ Support accounting for accounts payable activities including reconciliations and related analysis

+ Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments throughout the organization

+ Serve as backup support for cash accounting and accounts receivable functions

+ Assist with audit requests and financial reporting support as needed

Compensation & Benefits:

+ Salary range of $65,000-$78,000 plus discretionary bonus potential

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting

+ 2-4+ years of accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both

+ Experience working within an ERP system

+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills and overall systems aptitude

+ Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude

+ Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

+ Willingness to assist with transactional accounting responsibilities when needed

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Manufacturing industry experience

+ CPA or public accounting background
