Responsibilities- Assist the PT in all aspects of patient care
- Perform therapy techniques/exercises under PT guidance
- Measure and track patient progress, informing PT of changes
- Provide patients with needed continued care information
- Assist with patient handling and treatment management
- Carry out prescribed techniques and exercises
- Keep PT informed of changes in patient progress
- Help measure and track intervention effectiveness
- Educate the patient on continuing care
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Up-to-date Physical Therapist Assistant license
