We are partnering with a well-established law firm seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. This is a strong opportunity for a junior attorney looking to build litigation experience while working in a supportive environment with hybrid flexibility

Position: Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense
Location: Clinton, CT
Work Type: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite / remaining remote)
Experience
Required:
1–3 years
Billable Requirement: 1,800 hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with insurance defense and general litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
- Participate in depositions, hearings, and court appearances
- Communicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
- Support case preparation for mediations, settlements, and trial
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Connecticut
- 1–3 years of litigation experience required
- Insurance defense experience preferred but not required
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters effectively

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position can be between $90,000- $110,000 base annually
