Overview of RoleThe Sales Support Associate role is an integral part of the store's overall success and efficiency, emphasizing our brand commitment when servicing customers. This role leaves a lasting impression on customers through friendly, efficient interactions at the cash wrap and a well-maintained sales floor. Accurate and effective work supporting the flow of product from receipt through the point of sale is essential to this role.
Responsibilities- CASH WRAP – Greet customers with a smile and eye contact, offering your name; interact genuinely; read cues to determine customers needs; conduct email/name capture where permitted by law; maintain accuracy at the POS; keep cash wrap organized and clean; suggest add-ons and gift cards; maintain cash and POS media in compliance with policy; create a lasting impression and provide a reason to return;
represent the Coach brand appropriately. - STOCKROOM / WAREHOUSE – Receive shipments and transfers; notify Store Management on new product arrivals; scan cartons/transfers and verify store information; communicate discrepancies; process shipments/transfers per Coach standards and time frames; organize and clean stock room daily (including offsite/remote warehouse as applicable); shift/organize product in stockroom; react to sell-through and make room for new product; manage stock levels; prepare and conduct regular cycle counts;
participate in store physical inventory counts; maintain loss prevention standards. - SALES FLOOR – Regularly analyze sales floor to assess replenishment needs; replenish floor/assigned zone; respond to sell-through and execute visual merchandising; support sales floor activities as directed; communicate price points, features/benefits, color and stock availability to customers; respond to customer requests confidently and partner with sales team or Store Management when needed; maintain housekeeping standards.

- Experience
: 1–3 years of retail experience (cashier/stock/sales), preferably in luxury retail. Knowledge of fashion trends and marketplace competition. - Education
:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. - Technical
:
Knowledge of cash register systems; basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet); walkie talkie use; ability to read price and product release sheets. - Physical
:
Fast-paced work ability; effective communication with customers and team; ability to maneuver on the sales floor and in stock rooms; ability to climb, bend, kneel; frequently lift up to 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs for shipments/transfers. - Schedule
:
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays and high retail traffic days.
