Hours:
Mondays: 5:45am-3:45pm
Tuesdays: 6am-2pm
Wednesdays: 8am-2pm
Thursdays & Fridays: 8am-4pm
Saturdays:
Rotating working 8:30am-2:30pm
- Hours may very during the week when the Saturday rotation is in place
Must be available for flexibility in the schedule, per production need.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately utilize computerized systems and programs to carry out mailroom activities.
- Responsible for loading and unloading van to pick up mail from Post Office.
- Prepare courier packages, certified mail and P.O. box mail received into appropriate mail sort tubs.
- Prepare shipments for storage.
- Create and wrap pallets for secure delivery.
- Operate and use mailroom tools and equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
- Remove cardboard, empty recycle bins, return recycled items such as but not limited to cans and cardboard.
- Retrieve and examine items in discard bins and assure all items in bin are to be destroyed.
- Reference work instructions as needed.
- Required to attend mandatory meetings and trainings, work scheduled overtime with minimal notice, and perform other duties as assigned per business needs.
Qualification Requirements –
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to read, write and speak English.
- Able to maintain confidential information.
- Successfully pass and maintain acceptable background checks and security clearances.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Basic computer knowledge and Microsoft Suite experience.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Abe to work independently and in a team environment.
