Shipping Traffic Clerk

Position Summary: The responsibilities of the logistics clerk are to facilitate the transportation of materials in and out of our facility.

• Maintain paperwork/records as required by our standards.
• Match up shipping documents.
• Close and process orders in DMACS.
• Work with planners and sales on organizing shipments.
• Communicating with carriers on pick up’s, lost shipments, and tracking.
• Entering pick up request on the carrier’s web sites.
• Work with outside processors.
• Schedule our trucks.
• Able to deal with constant change.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Must have knowledge of bills of lading, inventory management practices, and receiving.
• Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety procedures.
• Knowledge of logistics practices preferred.
• Knowledge of international trade desired.

Education and/or

Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Hourly compensation for this role is $19.00 per hour. This full‑time position is eligible for a paid time off plan that includes 10 additional company paid holidays, 401(k) and/or Roth 401(k) with company match after one month of employment plus quarterly Core Defined Contributions, and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
