About the Position

Position Overview
An excellent full-time employment opportunity is available for a  Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist/Medical Oncologist  in  Clinton, Iowa . Join a well-established, hospital-attached practice serving an adult and geriatric population with strong referral support and onsite ancillary services.

Practice Highlights

Split:  30% Hematology / 70% Medical Oncology

Average  30 patients per day

New patient visits: 30 minutes

Follow-ups: 15 minutes

After-hours call is  phone-only and minimal

Practice attached to the hospital

Supported by  4 RNs, MA, CNA, and receptionist

Hospitalists available for infusion coverage if needed

Strong primary care referral network

Onsite Radiation Oncology outreach program

State-of-the-art facility with full ancillary services

Cancer care has been identified as a top community health priority, and the organization is actively working toward Commission on Cancer (COC) Accreditation.

Requirements
Requirements

Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in  Medical Oncology  – Required

Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in  Hematology  – Required

Iowa Medical License (or willing to obtain) – Required

Clean Malpractice History – Preferred

NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days of presentation) – Required

Not accepting Locums candidates
Not accepting visa candidates
Cannot accept providers with malpractice cases in probate or requiring supervision
