Student Support Paraprofessional (Grades 6–12)

Location: Clinton, Iowa

Type: Full-time | In-person |
Hourly Pay: $16‑18/hr (based on experience) |
Schedule: 2026–2027 School Year

We are seeking a positive, organized, and student‑centered paraprofessional to support students and teachers within our self‑paced learning environment. The role includes academic support, student supervision, mentoring, and helping maintain a structured and supportive classroom culture.

• Support students during independent work, projects, and small‑group learning
• Assist teachers with classroom organization and student accountability
• Help reinforce behavior expectations and positive school culture
• Supervise students during study times, transitions, lunch, or activities
• Build supportive relationships with students and staff
• Assist with school events, workshops, field trips, transportation, or supervision as needed

• Experience working with middle or high school students preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Positive, flexible, and team‑oriented mindset
• Comfortable working with technology and digital learning platforms
• Associate degree, paraprofessional certification, or college coursework preferred
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
