Table Games Trainee

General Description

Trainee will learn the skills required to deal a standardized, smooth, and mechanically efficient game in accordance with Table Games policies and procedures. Games will include Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold Em, Mississippi Stud, and Roulette. The trainee will obtain valuable experience in multiple specialized games. Following the successful completion of the training period, the Table Games trainee will be promoted to Table Games Dealer.

Responsibilities

Meet attendance guidelines

Attend each training session in presentable attire and good personal hygiene

Provide full attention and effort into learning the games presented

Cooperate with training personnel

Maintain a clean training area

Perform additional duties as assigned

Understand and adhere to blackjack policies and procedures

Adhere to casino policies and procedures

Qualifications

Reliable and trustworthy with a pleasant attitude

Ability to handle pressure and difficult situations

Must be able to stand 100% of the time

Basic arithmetic skills are required

Train in smoky, noisy atmosphere

Excellent communication skills

Dependability is a must

Must pass pre-employment drug screen, fingerprint and background check
