Description:

Join the Mercy One Family! We are looking to hire a Nutrition Services Worker! As a Nutrition Services Worker at Mercy One, you prepare patient trays; serve patients and visitors in café or assigned dining area; washes dishes, including pots and pans; cleans assigned work areas; puts away stock; set up service and special functions. In addition, they may operate the cash register, following proper cash procedures and the role of transporter.

Schedule:

Full-time, 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) Varied shifts based on departmental needs Weekend and holiday rotation required

• Must be able to read and understand labels, production orders, and storeroom set-up.
• Must have the ability to learn special diets.
• Must have valid Driver’s License if required to transport meals to other sites.
• Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
• Must possess the ability to comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures.

High school education or equivalent is preferred.
