Base pay: $65,000.00/yr
We are looking for employees who can perform quality work and meet deadlines with or without direct supervision. They will need to interact professionally with other employees and customers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. The primary purpose of the Technical Support Technician is to assist end users and dealers in diagnosis and repair of equipment via phone, email and fax.
Responsibilities- Understand hydraulic equipment and systems
- Understand all hydraulic components
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics
- Understand 12‑Volt electrical systems
- Understand basics of circuit breakers, fuses, starters, and control circuitry
- Use an electrical test meter to test voltage, amperage, continuity or ohms
- Troubleshoot electrical systems such as breakers, relays, timers or solenoids
- Troubleshoot electro‑pneumatic and electro‑hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot DC motors
- Troubleshoot pneumatic systems
- Have knowledge of all related hoses and fittings
- Read and interpret pneumatic schematics
- Occasionally assist with training classes for customers on equipment repair, operation and maintenance
- Review current and past service case files to ensure documentation is accurate and traceable
- Approve third‑party repair work and issue and receive Purchase Orders for work performed
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the manager
- Base compensation range of $65,000 annually, with consideration for higher compensation based on experience

- Hydraulic, electrical and mechanical equipment or general mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret parts diagrams, and schematics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word and Outlook - Familiarity with finding files on computer
- Ability to learn operation of ERP system – Made2
Manage and Karmak - Ability to learn Record 360 – asset condition reporting app
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Good organizational skills
- Willing to carry company cell phone on a weekly rotation to assist customers outside of normal business hours
- 18 years or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with rotating after‑hours on‑call duties at our Clinton, IA location.
