Summary of Job:
Utility Operator position is responsible for the day to day operation of the Material Handling yard. Operators oversee the unloading of coal and lime material by both truck and rail. Also responsible for loading ash trucks. These tasks involve verifying correct weights and numbers and entry into the ADM Weigh system. Operators will perform troubleshooting tasks and then preventative maintenance on equipment in their areas.
Progression into boiler house operation is expected.
Job Duties:
Help to ensure the safety of all personnel and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations. Recognize environmental and safety hazards and take actions to ensure they are mitigated so as not to affect employee safety, process quality, and environmental compliance. General labor. Operate specific equipment including rail locomotive, skid steer loader, and end loader. Data entry.
