Locum Tenens CRNA in Clinton, IA — Immediate opportunity for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists with an active Iowa or Compact license to provide perioperative anesthesia care with a collaborative anesthesia team.

Job Details — Locum Tenens CRNA / Anesthesia Jobs in Clinton, IA- Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,540 – $6,890
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8- or 12-hour day shifts (approximately 36 hours/week)
- On Call: Optional after training
- Case Volume: ~50–55 cases/week across 4 ORs, 1 GI suite, and 1 OB suite
- Clinical Areas: General, Orthopedic, GI, Urology, ENT, OB (no head or cardiac cases)
- EMR: EPIC
- Setting: Hospital-based perioperative services
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
- Active Iowa CRNA license or Compact License required (Iowa locum tenens candidates preferred)
- Board certified
- At least 1 year of CRNA experience preferred; new graduates will be considered for locum tenens anesthesia roles
- Clean malpractice and background history
- Experience with EPIC EMR and perioperative documentation is a plus
- Independently provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases (General, Orthopedic, GI, Urology, ENT, OB)
- Manage concurrent cases across multiple ORs, GI, and OB suites while maintaining perioperative patient safety
- Collaborate with two experienced physicians and a skilled OR team to coordinate anesthesia plans and intraoperative management
- Document all anesthesia care and perioperative notes in EPIC EMR and follow hospital protocols
- Maintain professional standards, participate in pre-op assessments, and support postoperative recovery and handoff
