Pay Rate: $20.85 – $39.56 per hour. Starting pay is dependent on skills & background. Shift(s) Available:
Day Shift – Monday thru Thursday, 10 hour days. Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, and on occasion different shifts with advance notice as needed. The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, repair, and commissioning of industrial electrical and instrumentation systems in a manufacturing and construction environment. This position applies electrical knowledge to support capital projects, maintenance activities, and plant operations while ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient equipment performance. The successful candidate will perform electrical and instrumentation work ranging from conduit installation and wire pulling to advanced troubleshooting of motors, control circuits, instrumentation devices, and process equipment.

They work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, engineering, and construction teams to execute projects and resolve equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit systems and raceways
  • Pull, terminate, test, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, circuits, and equipment.
  • Install, assemble, wire, and commission electrical and instrumentation equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform calibration, repair, replacement, and adjustment of valves, pumps, flow meters, transmitters, motors, and other process-related equipment.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, code issues, and required repairs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and process-related equipment failures to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
  • Reset breakers, troubleshoot motor control centers (MCCs), wire motor leads, and maintain start/stop control circuits to restore equipment operation.
  • Test circuit continuity and verify proper operation of installed systems and equipment.
  • Perform Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedure, and maintain compliance with safety requirements.
  • Utilize electrical testing equipment, hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, ladders, lifts, and fall protection equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and promote continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and workmanship.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, management, and team members on the planning and execution of electrical and instrumentation projects.
Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in any of the craft areas (electrical, welding, millwright, etc.) is required.
