Integrated Program Solutions, Inc. is seeking to hire a full time Program Acquisition Specialist at Patuxent River, MD. Selected candidate will possess strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs critical program management, technical, and business analysis of a major ACAT I DoD aircraft system. Provides program acquisition planning support for all aspects of the acquisition planning and execution in accordance with the DoD and SECNAV 5000 directives to include: development of acquisition strategies, program acquisition processes and requirements, milestone documentation, schedule analysis, and ability to understand, interpret, and provide recommendations on acquisition strategy matters while considering impacts to cost and schedule.
Development of program acquisition documentation such as AP, Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), PID, PWS, funding documents, CDRLs, and APBA. Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements. Attends, participates, reviews, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
- Support the development and execution of major aircraft development acquisition strategies and planning.
- Support preparation of acquisition documents such as the Capabilities Development Plan (CDP), Acquisition Plan (AP), and Acquisition Strategy Report (ASR)
- Coordinate and communicate within a team of internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform acquisition analysis, identifying execution opportunities and risks.
- Prepare reports on findings of analysis and present to senior leadership
- These positions are Hybrid Positions, based out of Patuxent River, MD. Employees are working remotely and on-site, dependent on client demands. Employees must possess the ability to go on-site if necessary to meet client or programmatic requirements.
Senior Master’s degree Over 10 years of experience
Journeyman Bachelors’ degree 3 to 10 years of experience
Junior Bachelor’s degree 1 to 3 years of experience
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel; MS Project experience preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills, including use of advanced formulas and pivot tables.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to strategically analyze data, develop recommendations, and manage workload with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of Government contract types and related contract terms and conditions.
- Experience supporting contracts with large CLIN structures and detailed reporting requirements.
Due to the requirements of this contract, U.S. Citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required. Active Security Clearance is preferred.
