Dental Hygienist

Fenton Family Dental, a family‑owned practice with two locations in Silver Spring and Clinton, is seeking a compassionate, gentle, full‑time Dental Hygienist with excellent communication skills. A Maryland local anesthesia license is a plus.

The role includes working with a hygiene assistant to treat approximately two patients per hour.

• Periodontal charting, scaling, polishing, and sealant application.
• Fluoride application.
• Record keeping: ensuring the ledger is charged for procedures and completing clinical notes for each patient.
• Reviewing patient charts to determine required radiographs, photo updates, and annual periodontal charting.

• Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure;
  Maryland local anesthesia license is an advantage.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
