Job Description

Do you bring out the star in your students? Our motto at Taylor Robinson Music is “Learn to Play From the Heart”, and we are looking for private music instructors who share that philosophy. We strive to make music lessons as accessible and affordable to as many people as possible because we believe the importance of music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place.

We hire private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio, but we have students needing teachers ASAP. Lessons can occur in the students’ homes, in your own home or studio, or via webcam. Most of our students prefer in‑person lessons, so we need local instructors who can host or travel to students in the Clinton, MD area.

You will be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20‑$30 per hour, depending on travel time, your experience/education, and student retention rate. You have the freedom to set your own schedule and curriculum. We take care of all advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing so you can focus on music.

Requirements:

• Excellent with kids, love teaching, keep in good communication, organized, and on time.
• Formal music training not mandatory but a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience is required.
