Speech and Language Pathologist
Abingdon, MD – Achieving True Self (ATS) offers a part‑time position for an experienced Speech and Language Pathologist.
ATS is an inclusive organization that delivers evidence‑based treatment to individuals, families, and communities. We are looking for a skilled SLP to provide clinical services at our Center of Achievement in Abingdon.
What do ATS SLPs do?SLPs at ATS help patients reach their maximum functional potential through comprehensive assessment and intervention services. Therapists create a motivating experience, collect data on programming targets, and support parents and caregivers.
Pay RangeDirect, billable hours: $40–$50 per hour.
Indirect, indirect hours: $15 per hour (training and onboarding). This is a part‑time position.
Responsibilities- Deliver customer‑focused treatment through ethical interactions.
- Prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
- Emphasize individual motivation and engagement to create space for ongoing progress.
