Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Float required within skillset/acuity level
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend for duration of contract
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratio experience with 6 patients required
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• ACLS preferred
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must have Maryland compact license or MD license
• Experience required with Cerner charting system
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post-MI care, feeding tube management, hemodialysis management, port access, blood product administration, IV management, heparin protocols, CVA care, neurosurgery care, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, joint replacement, wound care, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, tracheostomy care, and isolation precautions
• One pre-approved time off request allowed (no more than 7 days per 13-week contract)
• No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignment
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
