** What You'll Do
** Perform venipuncture, fingerstick, and heelstick specimen collections in accordance with established laboratory standards and age-specific patient care requirements.

Verify patient identity and specimen labeling using approved identification procedures to ensure patient safety and specimen integrity.

Prepare, process, and transport laboratory specimens while maintaining proper handling procedures and quality standards.

Maintain specimen integrity throughout the collection, processing, and transport process to support accurate laboratory results.

Support laboratory workflow and daily operations by assisting with specimen management, order processing, and customer service activities.

Communicate effectively with patients, providers, nursing staff, and laboratory personnel to coordinate specimen collection and testing requirements.

Utilize laboratory information systems to support registration, order management, documentation, and specimen tracking activities.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to specimen collection, processing, and laboratory operations.

Support quality assurance initiatives and regulatory compliance activities throughout the laboratory.

Promote patient comfort, dignity, safety, and exceptional customer service during every patient interaction.
