IT Project Manager, IT Consultant
Overview
GDIT is seeking a Project Manager to support the National Institute of Health (NIH), National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI). The Project Manager will guide our team that is developing a new system to make it easier for researchers to find, access and use heart, blood, lung, and sleep data.
Responsibilities- Project planning and tracking
- Contract reporting
- Staff oversight and supervision
- Engage with other system owners and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration
- Collaborate with other team members to enable the teams to advance all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g., Requirements, Design, Development, and Testing)
- Collaborating with the team on Agile activities, including estimation, iterative planning and retrospectives
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) and 7+ years of relevant experience
- Experience leading software development teams
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain NIH Public Trust
- Experience working in NIH environment; active NIH badge is a plus
- Experience managing federal contracts strongly preferred
- Experience working in the biomedical research domain
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
