Our client is seeking a Software Engineer with experience in machine learning operations (MLOps), Kubernetes, and high-performance computing (HPC) environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical systems for the U.S. Government in one of the most dynamic and impactful areas of national security.

What You’ll Be DoingAs part of an elite engineering team, you’ll design, build, and maintain robust, scalable pipelines to enable machine learning model training and inference in a secure Kubernetes-based environment. You’ll help deliver efficient and compliant solutions for model deployment and performance tuning.
Your work may involve:
Developing data-aware model training pipelines
Building secure, scalable Kubernetes-based inference pipelines
Integrating custom metrics to support real-time performance tuning
Working with large-scale, high-throughput systems in an HPC context
You’ll work with cutting-edge systems that may include:
Real-time and high-volume data pipelines
HPC clusters for parallelized computing
Data repositories, transport services, and analytics stacks
Dev Sec Ops pipelines and ML model orchestration platforms
Proficient in Linux CLI
Strong Python development experience
Experience with
ETL/data processing workflows using Spark or DaskDeveloping and deploying containerized applications
Writing and deploying Kubernetes resources
Creating and maintaining Helm charts
Go programming experience
Experience with
CI/CD tools like Git Lab and Flux CDExperience working with or debugging GPU-enabled applications
Familiarity with policy management tools (e.g., Kyverno)
Experience using image builder tools like Ko (for Go)
Exposure to ML frameworks:
Py Torch ,
Tensor Flow
, etc.Familiarity with ML orchestration tools (e.g., Kubeflow, NeMo, PyTorch Lightning)
Monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
Experience with
Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Active Top Secret clearance with favorable polygraph
