Database Administrator

We are seeking a database administrator to consult on designs and implement individual components of Oracle products based on their area of expertise. The role involves analyzing detailed requirements and developing detailed designs for specific Oracle products or technologies.

The administrator will provide implementation services, including extensions and configurations necessary to support customer-specific business processes and workflows. Responsibilities also include performing routine health checks, system optimizations, performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive analysis of potential issues, risks, and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.

• Security Clearance: YS/SCI w/Poly
• 10+ years of experience administering and engineering solutions with Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases (version 10 to current).
• BSc in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication skills.

• Experience with RAC, RMAN backup & recovery, Oracle Exadata, Data Guard, DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.
