The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a qualified and trained Computer Scientist, Sr. for a role in an engineering support services program for U.S. Army customers at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The Computer Scientist, Sr. is responsible for performing the software engineering function, including the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for enhancements and new software- intensive systems and products to bring about the successful completion of the CYBERTRON program goals and objectives.
The CYBERTRON program delivers highly skilled engineering services to the U.S. Army C5
ISR Center in their mission of cybersecurity research and development and cryptographic modernization.

- Performs requirements analysis, design, and coding methodologies; data base design approaches; documentation standards.
- Applies appropriate principles, standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software/system development life cycle.
- Analysis of hardware compatibility, development of software products and tools used for design, development and maintenance of infrastructure, and platforms.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering/technical discipline or 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Appropriate DoD 8750 certification (Security+ or higher).
- Have experience in a variety of software programming languages.
- Have experience in a variety of business systems and applications.
- Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts
- Master's in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering/technical discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Eligible for TS / SCI
- Experience supporting Army programs
- Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance at time of consideration
