Cloud System Administrator

HOW A CLOUD SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions.
  • Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud
  • Administering Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and One Drive
  • Monitoring system health and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Conducting risk assessments
  • Identifying technical requirements
  • Managing project timelines
  • Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration
  • Providing post-migration support and address any issues that arise
  • Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Automating administrative tasks using Power Shell scripts
  • Implement security and compliance policies
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and licensing
  • Ensuring seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and One Drive

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education:

    Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
  • Required Experience:

    3+ years of related experience
  • Required Technical

    Skills:

    Proven experience with Azure cloud services and migration projects, Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly
  • Required

    Skills and Abilities:

    Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance
  • Location:

    On Site
  • US Citizenship Required
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certified
  • 1 Cloud Certification in representative cloud where work is performed (Azure or AWS)
  • Ability to work on call

The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
