The Opportunity: Are you excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by quantum information science? Are you fascinated by the possibilities presented by quantum computing and sensing advances? We have an opportunity for you to use your analytical and experimental skills to improve quantum computing, communications, and sensing capabilities for the U.S. government.
You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide direct quantum support. You’ll mentor and learn from teammates and shape research directions both with clients and through internal investments. Join us as we advance the state-of-the-art of quantum information science.
You Have:
- Experience leading and managing small to medium-sized projects
- Knowledge of a wide range of quantum computing hardware, control electronics, and environmental control requirements
- Ability to convey complex concepts to a varied audience both written and verbally
- Ability to work collaboratively in a manner that leverages various backgrounds and expertise
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience studying quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking, as demonstrated through scientific publications or conference presentations, Master's degree and 6+ years of experience studying quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking, as demonstrated through scientific publications or conference presentations, or Doctorate degree and 4+ years of experience studying quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking, as demonstrated through scientific publications or conference presentations
Nice If You Have:
- 15+ years of experience studying quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking, as demonstrated through scientific publications or conference presentations
- Experience leading the development of technology business plans and roadmaps, building and managing teams of scientists and engineers to execute against business plans, and managing associated resources, including hardware and funding
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD).
