Job summary
Individuals possessing a familiarity with PLCs, power supply and VFD wiring techniques will enjoy this role while getting the opportunity to work with their hands to complete panel assembly and testing. Additionally, the job involves project organization, in-shop and on-site construction and installation.
Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting materials (up to 50 lbs. assisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking. Employees must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction trades. Employees must be able to perform tasks from heights as well as on the ground level
Minimum QualificationsThe candidate must possess exceptional communication and organizational skills through a variety of formats, such as telephone, and face to face. The candidate must also be organized to manage and complete all necessary tasks on time and accurately. The candidate must be a hard worker, self‑motivated individual that is safety oriented while working. Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications as detailed, to be eligible for employment with Jakes Electric LLC.
Education& Experience
Have good communication skills as well as organizational and time management skills. Must be detail oriented. Able to stand, bend, walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to use and operate hand tools and read a tape measure. High School Diploma required.
PreferredLicense or Certificate:
- High School Diploma required.
- Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Assembly experience 2 years
