Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor and Delivery position requiring NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital
- High-risk L&D setting
- Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Call required: 36 hours in 6 weeks or 12 hours per pay period, with a 45-minute onsite response time
- Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
- Floating required within skillset to Mom/Baby and postpartum units
- Locals within 60 miles are accepted
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients in a high-risk environment
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary team including physicians and other RNs
- On-call shifts require rapid onsite availability
- Expect to float to related units as needed based on skillset
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Current certifications: NRP, STABLE, C-EFM, ACLS, and BLS required
- Experience with circulating, fetal heart monitoring, and preceptor and/or charge duties required
- AWHONN certification preferred
- Triage experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
