Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2 years of experience, night shift availability, and the ability to float to multiple units.

• Hospital ICU setting with a patient population requiring intensive care monitoring and intervention
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to MS, MS/Tele, ED, and IMC as needed
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted, though a different pay rate applies — contact your recruiter for details
• All time off and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront at time of submission

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on the lethal rhythms section
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
