Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU/IMC Float RN for a night shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications with cardiac telemetry experience.

• Hospital-based ICU/IMC float position
• Travelers cover both the ICU and IMC units, with floating to the ED and Med Surg as needed
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) required per 6-week period
• 13-week contract
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
• Candidates with a BSN should include it in their credentials

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• MS/Telemetry and Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
