Job Title

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN – Travel Nurse (Clinton, Maryland)

The position is a 13‑week travel assignment for a PCU RN in Clinton, MD. The PCU nurse cares for patients who require close monitoring but are not in ICU. The RN will provide bedside care, perform procedures, administer medications, and monitor equipment.

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication and report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse symptomatology.

1–2 years recent acute care experience; ACLS, BLS, NIH required. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
