Registered Nurse Cath Lab

The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cath Lab. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Electrophysiology Lab. Local candidates within a specified radius are accepted. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. The nurse will provide care for patients undergoing procedures in the Cath Lab. Experience with specific medical equipment and procedures is essential.

Responsibilities include assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role also involves pre- and post-procedure patient care. The nurse will work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and call shifts. Interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team are crucial. Candidates should be adept in handling medical emergencies. Additional experience, such as trauma or critical care, may be beneficial.

The ability to interpret EKGs and monitor patient conditions is required.
