Hours:
36 - Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,710 - $1,800
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Float Requirement: Required
- Medication System: Pyxis
- Scrubs: Ceil blue; not provided
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 completed travel nurse assignment required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to pass an EKG rhythm interpretation exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms
- Strong experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response
- Comfortable managing a 1:6 patient ratio in a med/surg telemetry setting
- Reliable, adaptable, and ready to support a collaborative healthcare team
- Provide skilled nursing care to adult med/surg telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Interpret dysrhythmias and elevate concerns as needed
- Administer medications and maintain safe, accurate medication workflows
Support care for patients recovering from total joint replacements, spine surgery, abdominal procedures, urologic procedures, and general medicine cases - Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, effective patient care
- Float to similar units when needed
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and uphold unit standards
- Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional nursing care
