Quality Inspector

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures throughout our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in quality inspection, with a strong understanding of ISO
9001/2015 and AS9100D standards. Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner is highly desirable.

• Perform thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance with specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauging fixtures to conduct accurate measurements.
• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner to inspect complex parts and assemblies.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, abnormalities, or non-conformities in products or materials.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records, including detailed reports and data analysis.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in root cause analysis investigations to determine causes of quality issues and help implement preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with ISO
  9001/2015 and AS9100D standards, contributing to the quality management system.
• Communicate effectively with production personnel, engineers, and stakeholders to address quality concerns and provide guidance.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, inspection techniques, and emerging standards.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO
  9001/2015 and AS9100D standards.
• Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauging fixtures.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in computer software for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to qualify for a government clearance if required.

• High School Diploma or GED.
