Zone Lead (Full-Time)

Pay: $15.00 - $16.25/hr

Job Summary: The Zone Lead (ZL) reports to the Zone Manager and supports merchandising in designated zones. The ZL maintains an active selling culture by ensuring all visual aspects are set and upheld to company standards designed to drive sales. The role requires enthusiastic lifting, carrying, moving around the warehouse-format store, and stocking.

• The ZL supports all aspects of the visual merchandising processes by planning and leading transitions, reinventions, product assortment changes, and resets while maintaining visual integrity and an inspiring environment.
• The ZL manages task planning/execution of daily/weekly workload, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
• The ZL participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and transitions.
• The ZL processes freight sorts, stocks product in designated areas, and maintains a neat, clean, organized zone.
• The ZL supports the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention expense control, and customer experience, participating in meetings/huddles on these subjects.
• The ZL serves as a role model and coach, providing continuous learning opportunities in visual merchandising.
• The ZL leverages daily interactions to communicate and train visual priorities and creations that support the customer experience.
• The ZL reviews the store’s financial and business data from the store scorecard, including sales and expenses, and acts within assigned zones to improve metrics.
• The ZL ensures maintenance of a neat, clean, organized zone and up-to-date signing and sets.
• All other duties assigned based on business needs.
• Open availability (require nights and weekends).

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Background Check will be completed.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs., move merchandise around the store routinely.
• Hand use, reach with hands and arms, stand or walk for prolonged periods.
• Bend, climb, and reach at times; work independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail, process, marketing, and standards.
• Reliable, trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior.
• Creates a sense of urgency, promotes teamwork, delegates appropriately, motivates team to accomplish objectives; timely and thorough execution.
