What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, and deliveries; support visitor check-in and direct traffic to designated areas as needed.
  • Perform foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or damage to property.
  • Observe and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, broken seals, and/or other irregular conditions; complete detailed written reports and log entries.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as required.
  • Monitor alarms, radios, and/or surveillance systems when assigned; promptly communicate security-related concerns through the chain of command.
  • Support dock and yard operations by maintaining perimeter checks, monitoring truck traffic flow, and reporting irregular shipping and receiving activity per site procedures.
  • Provide guidance to employees and visitors regarding site rules, PPE requirements, and restricted areas as communicated by site management, while maintaining professional conduct.
  • Participate in required training, briefings, and post orders; maintain a consistent presence to support security-related operations throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver s license will be required for driving positions only.
