Service Technician

Service Technician – Drucker + Falk, LLC

≡ Base pay: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour

≡ Sign‑on bonus: $1,500.00 ($750.00 received upon starting; $750.00 after 90 days)

• Perform repairs to make‑ready units in a timely manner.
• 24‑hour on‑call service as scheduled by Service Manager; respond to on‑call paging.
• Assist Service Manager, Housekeeper, and Grounds personnel with tasks, including trashing out units.
• Control inventory and manage maintenance materials and supplies.
• Inspect property for necessary improvements and repairs; review with Service Manager.
• Execute work order requests; aim for same‑day completion where possible.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of maintenance shop.
• Operate and perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment.
• Know location of gas, water, electric, and sewer cut‑offs.
• Paint interior and exterior when required.
• Be available for snow events and after‑hours on‑call on a rotating basis.
• Keep the shop clean, maintain a professional appearance, and exhibit a good attitude.
• Assist on another site if needed and be flexible to transfer to another property.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• HVAC skills with CFC certification.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA regulations.
• 608 Refrigerant Certification preferred; training available.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• May require night/weekend work and on‑call duties.
• Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to extreme temperatures (below 32°F and above 100°F).
• Exposed to chemical hazards, moving mechanical parts, electrical shock, and weather conditions.

High‑school diploma, GED, or equivalent. One to three months of related experience or training is acceptable.

Current driver’s license and relevant certifications.

Standing, walking, lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing, kneeling, and frequent repetition of tasks; exposure to fumes and insects.

Frequent exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, weather, and electrical hazards; moderate noise level.
