Senior Project Manager – Electrical Construction (DMV Area)

Location: Maryland, United States

Compensation: Competitive base salary ($40 - $60 PER HOUR Depending on Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and industrial construction projects. The Foreman will be responsible for supervising day-to-day electrical operations, coordinating manpower and materials, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans and specifications.

This role is hands-on and leadership-driven, ideal for someone who can balance productivity, quality, and crew development on active job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coordinate, and lead electrical crews on active job sites
  • Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to electricians and apprentices
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other trades
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and company standards
  • Enforce job-site safety procedures and conduct toolbox talks
  • Track labor productivity and report progress to management
  • Assist with material ordering, staging, and inventory control
  • Mentor and develop junior electricians and apprentices
  • Troubleshoot field issues and resolve installation challenges
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and commercial electrical systems
  • Ability to read and work from electrical plans and schematics
  • Proven leadership and crew-management skills
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (preferred)
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work on active job sites
Preferred Experience
  • Proven experience leading crews on commercial electrical construction projects
  • Background working on office, institutional, education, and healthcare facilities
  • Ability to coordinate manpower, sequencing, and daily work plans in active job sites
  • Strong communication skills when working with Project Managers, Superintendents, and fellow field leaders
