Job Title
Unloads tools, setup equipment and prepare work area, Follow project instructions from construction foreman and/or supervisor Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks Safely operate a variety of tools including, but not limited to, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, torches, etc. Ability to assist with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials Safely and effectively operate machinery in order to complete assigned jobs- skid steer, asphalt paver, roller Thorough understand all aspects of the paving industry including preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving Performs equipment maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and maintaining fluid levels on equipment;
will also assist with equipment cleanup as needed Work outdoors in changing weather conditions, around hot asphalt and asphalt paving equipment. Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner, with high standards for quality and safety Position is not solely based on operating Roller- will help crew shovel, lute, and any other assigned duties assigned by Foreman
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent Required
Work Experience:
2 years' experience Manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, good physical fitness, a good sense of balance, and an ability to work as a member of a team. Excellent oral communication skills Reliable transportation Ability to work in team environment Licenses
Required:
Valid driver License Required Computer and Software
Skills:
Basic computer skills Ability to work in all weather conditions without limitations. Ability to lift 50lbs
