Primary ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Supervisor leads a team of 25‑28 Warehouse Associates to ensure efficient operations, maintain safety standards, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Drives performance, delivers results, exceeds defined goals.
Cultivates high‑performance culture: sets clear expectations, provides coaching, motivates, ensures collaborative, respectful, safe work environment. Associates work in different temp zones including refrigerated 25‑35°F and freezer ‑20°F.
Shift Sunday‑Thursday. Must be flexible.
Essential Functions Leading and Developing Team Members- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 25‑28 Warehouse Associates, ensuring they have the tools, support, and knowledge to meet and exceed performance expectations.
- Set clear, achievable performance goals using KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, safety, and cleanliness.
- Provide real‑time coaching, guidance, and feedback, reinforcing a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Inspire individual growth and career development by promoting skill enhancement and fostering continuous improvement.
- Recognize and celebrate outstanding performance, motivating the team to perform at highest potential.
- Lead by example in creating and reinforcing a safety‑first culture, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, providing training and implementing corrective actions where needed.
- Hold the team accountable for maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, continuously optimizing workflows.
- Apply LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement practices to identify opportunities for process improvement, reduce waste, and ensure operations remain efficient, accurate, and aligned with objectives.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to implement improvements based on feedback, performance reviews, and observed inefficiencies.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including various shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays to support warehouse operations.
Must be able to lift, move, and carry 30‑40 pounds repetitively upward of 1,000 times per day. May need to lift, move, and carry larger items up to 75 pounds frequently. Supervisor frequently required to stand, walk, climb, and sit. Warehouse environment temperatures vary, freezer ‑20°F, refrigerator 25‑35°F. Outdoor weather conditions, noise levels low to moderate.
