Salary: $58,816 to $111,554 per year (based on experience and in accordance with the Clinton Teachers Association Collective Bargaining Agreement)

Clinton Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our Clinton Middle School community. The ideal candidate brings strong skills in psycho‑educational assessment, data analysis, and collaborative practice, and is committed to supporting the academic, social, and emotional well‑being of every student. Experience facilitating team processes, such as IEP and evaluation meetings, is preferred.

• Conduct comprehensive psycho‑educational assessments; prepare thorough written reports that analyze findings, offer diagnostic impressions, and provide educationally relevant recommendations.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and targeted intervention strategies.
• Foster a supportive learning environment by building strong partnerships with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Participate in school‑based meetings and contribute meaningfully to the development of school‑wide programs and initiatives.
• Provide appropriate counseling and support to students navigating emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges.
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in school psychology and student mental health.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education and/or the Building Principal.

• Valid DESE licensure as School Psychologist.
• Experience working in a middle school setting is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
• Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
