Missions

Organise and carries out the welcome and activities that contribute to the development of the child within the framework of the educational project of the service or structure.

Technical activities:

• Welcome of children, parents or parental substitutes;
• Creation and implementation of the conditions necessary for the well-being of children;
• Help to the child in the acquisition of autonomy;
• Elaboration and implementation of children's activity projects;
• Implementation of safety and hygiene rules;
• Participation in the development of the establishment project.

- Socio-professional knowledge:

• Specific ergonomics notions for the places of welcome of the young child;
• Notions of child psychology;
• Principles of body hygiene (toilet, change, clothing, etc.);
• Basic rules in dietetics and food hygiene of the young child;
• Principles of indoor air quality and vigilance regarding the chemical composition of toys, bottles, hygiene and maintenance products.

- General knowledge:

• Active listening, communication and observation techniques;
• Regulation and conflict resolution techniques;
• Social evolutions of different forms of families;
• Regulations in terms of parental authority;
• Educational and pedagogical project of the structure;
• Principles of territorial organization.

CV + cover letter and copies of training and diplomas + certificate of good standing for work in early childhood It is possible to recruit on this position a person who is not a laureate of a public service competition, because one of the indicated grades is an entry-level grade of category C which allows direct recruitment without competition.

Art. L332-8 disposition 2 of the general code of public service - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position for the needs of the services or by the nature of the functions when no candidacy of a civil servant has succeeded. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
