• Business degree or related field preferred.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• 3-5 years of administrative experience in an office environment.
• Familiarity with M.G.L. Chapter 32 and PERAC regulations (or willingness to learn).
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, benefits calculation, financial record keeping; knowledge of city government; MGL, and pension calculations. (or willingness to learn).
• Strong math, accounting, and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
• Commitment to accuracy and service excellence.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a typical office environment. The candidate selected must be willing to attend occasional training, seminars, workshops, and/or conferences for several days.
