Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department under the direction of the Registered Nurse;
Performs EKGs, collects laboratory specimens, performs phlebotomy, and obtains vital signs;
Prepares patients for surgery and documents medical records, orders, and departmental logs with accuracy;
Stocks, maintains, and replaces supplies; adheres to infection control and sterile techniques;
Participates in departmental performance improvement and training activities
